How We Helped a Smile in Need
Can you imagine struggling with serious dental issues, but having nowhere to turn? Sadly, that’s where a community member, Rosa, found herself for years. Eventually, she asked Nourish NJ for help to find affordable dental care. Despite numerous referrals, getting the quality treatment she needed within her means seemed impossible. Fortunately, that’s when the Director of Development, Nancy Rudgers, had an idea: reach out to Dr. Alan Rauchberg. After hearing Rosa’s story, Dr. Rauchberg offered the talent, expertise, and skill of him and his team – absolutely free of charge. When Rosa heard the news, she was moved to tears.
Meet Our Incredible Leader, Dr. Rauchberg
Growing up, Dr. Rauchberg’s father (a dentist) and mother (a dental hygienist) helped restore smiles at their home dental office. So, there wasn’t a part of his life that didn’t involve dentistry! From a young age, he saw that, through dental care, he could have a positive impact on the lives of those around him. After nearly three decades being a dentist himself, helping people from all walks of life get the exceptional treatment they deserve continues to motivate and inspire him.
The road to becoming the exceptional dentist he is today began at Temple University School of Dentistry. From there, he completed a General Practice Residency at the Medical College of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, and his commitment to continuing education has continued strong. In fact, he has undergone advanced training at notable institutions, like the Spear Institute and the Dawson Academy, accruing more than 100 hours of continuing education each year. This allows him to provide his friends, family, and neighbors with only the best dentistry has to offer.
Our Commitment to Community
As smile-enthusiasts, our team naturally loves to help patients with everything from routine preventive care and essential restorative treatments to smile-transforming cosmetic dentistry. However, our passion for giving back to the community is strong even outside our office walls. As a result, we get involved in multiple events and causes throughout the year to give back however we can. In addition to donating to the food pantry and participating in the hunger walk, we are proud to use our skills to help people like Rosa achieve the healthy, happy smiles they deserve.
