Dental FAQs

How does the doctor keep up to date with current techniques and materials?

Our doctors and staff participate in many continuing education classes each year. We believe that new techniques and technology in dentistry only enhance our patients’ experience, so we constantly implement the latest procedures and integrate new dental tools. When you visit Rauchberg Dental Associates, you’ll notice that we offer low-radiation X-rays, and we have intraoral cameras, laser cavity detection, rotary files for root canals, intense magnification, and other tools to make your dental experience efficient, effective, and comfortable. Our doctors hold membership in many professional dental organizations, as well as various study clubs, so you can rely on their dedication to knowing the latest techniques and products in their field.

Do you accept referrals?

Of course. When you refer family members or friends to Rauchberg Dental Group, we guarantee that they will receive the same personalized service and comprehensive care that you received. Thank you for your referrals.

What payment options do you provide?

We accept cash, check, and credit cards, and we also work with CareCredit for patients who prefer third-party financing. These trusted institutions have helped our patients receive the dental work they need and deserve, without busting their budgets!

How can I safely whiten my teeth?

We offer Zoom! Whitening, which whitens teeth up to eight shades in about an hour. For patients who prefer to whiten at home, we offer custom take-home trays with Zoom! Weekender bleaching gel. Both methods are safe and effective.

What makes you different from other dental practices?

You! We believe that the individuality of our patients is vitally important to the success of Rauchberg Dental Group. Because you are unique, we’ll present an array of treatment options, make sure you feel confident in your understanding of the various recommended procedures, and then help you decide which ones would work best for you. If you have concerns about dental fear, insurance, financing, or what treatments entail, please ask us. Because you are the most important part of our practice, we will first focus on your concerns, and then we will provide you with the personalized care and service you deserve.

I really don't like going to the dentist. Is there anything you can do to help me relax?

Whether you just don’t like dental offices or have severe dental phobia, we understand your discomfort, and we can help. In addition to explaining all of our procedures and letting you be in control of your dental care, our gentle and caring team members can offer you music or television to take your mind off of your dental treatments. We also offer nitrous oxide, oral sedation, or IV sedation with a licensed anesthesiologist. Please talk to us about your fears. We’re here to help.

I brush every day, but my breath isn't fresh. What can I do?

Bad breath can put a damper on your social life and inhibit your personality. If you suffer from halitosis, we can determine the cause through a routine periodontal exam. Depending on our findings, we’ll recommend products that will help your breath become a breath of fresh air.

How can I get my front teeth to look better without braces?

If your front teeth are slightly misaligned, veneers can alter their appearance quickly. For patients who wish to reposition more than their front teeth, we offer Invisalign transparent orthodontia. A clear set of custom aligners will be fabricated to systematically realign your teeth into the desired position. You’ll wear an aligner for about two weeks, then we’ll give you the next in your series. The aligners are removable, easy to clean, and contain no irritating metal wires. To maintain a professional, mature appearance, Invisalign may be your answer. We are the only Premier Invisalign Provider with VIP status in Northern New Jersey.

What can I do about my snoring spouse?

Snoring interrupts sleep – for the snorer and the sleeping partner. If you or your spouse snores, we can prescribe oral appliances to help. Ask about snore appliances at your next dental visit.
