Community InvolvementCandy Buy Back Update: Thank you for candy buy back. We collected over 500 pounds of candy for our troops. Why does a local Dentist want to pay kids money for their Halloween candy? One area dentist is redefining the phrase “put your money where your mouth is.” This Halloween, trick-or-treaters can bring their excess candy to Rauchberg Dental Group in Parsippany and receive $1 per pound as well as other fun surprises. Weight limit is 1000 pounds. "Visiting your dentist twice a year and brushing daily are great preventative measures, but doing away with excess sweets altogether would really give your teeth a healthy boost" Says Dr. Alan Rauchberg from Rauchberg Dental Group. "We are not saying get rid of trick or treating and Halloween altogether we are just simply trying to put the excess sweets that children are not going to be eating to a better cause that is sure to put a smile on our troops faces. Candy will be collected at Rauchberg Dental Group during office hours the week of November 1-5, 2010. The candy must be unopened. Please no bites. It will then be shipped to troops overseas. We are visiting two nursery schools. Friday, January 28, 2011 The Carousel Learning PreSchool in Pasippany, New Jersey and Friday. March 4, 2011 The Goddard School in Parsippany, New Jersey
